room inspiration

Last night I finally went and bought myself my gym membership (which was the easy part I know). I don't know WHY I deprive myself of something I love so much and it's not even as though I don't see results from my hard work. I usually do right away when I'm consistent. It felt so amazing to be back at it last night and even though I couldn't lift NEARLY as much as I use to, I honestly felt teary when I was exercising.... yes I said teary. I couldn't believe it either! It's been obvious for a long time now that this type of exercise works well for my body and I need it. I once read that unless you've missed literally days worth of sleep, working out (in whatever form) will be significantly more beneficial for you than sleep would be at that particular time. (Assuming the excuse is "I'm too tired"). So now that I've rambled on I'll try and get back to the subject ...

Cute roooom huh. I love the lilac grey and cotton color combo. Wall art seems to be the newest way to add a little something to bare walls. This birch tree wall art creates an organic feel. While you could stick the the lilac grey and cotton like colors, you could also turn it up a notch (like this mom to be did) with the tangerine printed crib bedding or another equally as gorgeous contrast color like a deep chocolate brown or a royal blue in small doses around the room.

holllidaaaay!

I love this little holiday number. Yes I'm going a little New Years outfit crazy but there is so much you can throw together for the holidays. You don't even neccesarily need to go out and get a new dress - just styling it with a little glitz and some super cute shoes and accessories can take it to another level. This is my NY vision. I'm off to do some christmas baking and get a little fresh winter air this morning with Ben's Mom!

inspire me

I just love this romantic wedding day hair style from the Knot. The pretty hair piece adds a little sparkle. I`ve also been eyeing the little floral shoe clips from the bpoetic Etsy shop. I`ve already chosen the color I would like for my wedding and I`ll order them in January once I find the right shoes! Who wouldn`t love this vintage ring by Aawsomblei Antique & Vintage Jewelry on their pretty little finger - so glam. I`ve done enough procrastanation today so that`s it for my inspiration for now. It`s off to the gym to do my body a little good!

Party Girl

I already have my NY outfit picked out - no surprise! I'm going ultra glizty in a sequined layered mini. How pretty is this party dress by Alice & Olivia?! I'm head over heels for the plum and wine OPI shades this season. Holiday OPI shades to look for: All A-Bordeaux the Sled, Holiday Glow, Sapphire in the Snow, and Merry Midnight. Other outfit ideas: a cute tailored lil black jacket and fun scarf for your way to the party, tights if you're going to be outdoors, and a pretty clutch to hold all your night necessities!

Layer Me Up

I feel like the layered necklace is here to stay. Don't mark my words but I can't get enough of them. I find msyelf wearing mine casually with jeans and also to add a little something to my sweater dresses as well. Charlotte Russe has some really fun pieces right now but I'm sure you can pick one up at places like Aldo or maybe Le Chateau. Try adding two seperate pieces together over a simple, fitted top!

Holiday Inspired

I love the Chirstmas holidays! It's a perfectly suitable time of year to wear shimmer and sparkle and nothing makes you feel better than when you're sparkling. I'm in love with this Marchesa organza dress and this fun cocktail ring (which I already have in a teal and gold color!) You can find Marchesa pieces at Neiman Marcus.

Touch Ups

Ok - I'm renewing and revamping! What's new hey. If it's not our home or my closet, it's my blog. So please bare with me as it's taking a little longer than I'd planned. Be back soon with even more good stuff! In the meantime, feast your pretty little eyes on this amazing color scheme. Lavendar, warm olive and grey. Oh lala!!
